     Extensive management and scientific experience in a high security institute conducting research and diagnostic services for highly contagious diseases.
     Many years of international activities and experience, in particular with the OIE as well as FAO and projects in developing countries.
     Broad experience in finding solutions to animal health and food safety issues based on the needs of countries or other institution.
     Many years of teaching experience in animal health, disease control, epidemiology and immunoprophylaxis at the veterinary faculties of the University of Berne and Zürich.
